Getting Started and Login

Welcome to your Center for Legal Studies Course!

Thank you for your registration.

You should be able to access your course immediately, with the login information provided in your email.

If you have problems with logging in, or any technical issues, please email The Center for Legal Studies at 

For future reference, you may want to bookmark the login page BEFORE YOU LOGIN,  https://legalstudiesonline/. You will be referring back to this page frequently throughout the session. 

You can also access The Center for Legal Studies web site for additional information at any time.

Getting Started and Login

To login to Moodle and to your course, please go to the Upper left hand corner under the green "Login". (Sample screen below)



You will be asked to supply authorization information to access this page. Please use the assigned Username and Password contained in the email message which led you to this linked page.  

( If you do forgot your password, you can click on "Lost Password" and the Moodle system can email it to you, or we can reset it for you) 

When you enter the authorization information, make sure you use only lower case letters in your username and enter the information exactly as it appears in your access email.

After you login, you will see your Homepage:

This Homepage is a general page that may contain news or announcements from The Center for Legal Studies, but most of your information will be found through your actual Course Page instead (which we will get to shortly). Please also note that there are helpful features on either sidebar. On the left hand side is the Navigation block which includes links to your course(s) and mail tool. On the right hand side you will see the Upcoming EventsCalendar and Latest News areas.

In the center of this Homepage, the My Courses section can be found. All of the courses you enrolled in will be displayed under My Courses. To get to your main Course Page from here, you will Click on the name of your course. After doing so, you will actually be in your enrolled Course(s)
